Great book! Sets up perfectly for the next book in the series.
This was a great book. A surprise for Uktesh, and one of the coolest fights he's had to face. Especially at the end! Hicks is a great writer, and I'm eager for him to finish the series, but before he does I will at least move on to some of his other writings!
Really good book, but the story could further be developed. At time the author just skip key story elements and at others, focuses too much on something that doesn't impact the overall story. I felt more like I was reading a draft document than a finished book. Disappointed, but the other books were good so I'll stick with it for now.
Its amazing that anyone can write this poorly. The only thing that is more amazing is how badly the spelling is. This should never have been published.
This is the 3rd book and it continues to have likeable characters (unique speech impediments), great action, and another interesting ending. I like that Laurilli had a bigger role in this book and I like that with all the battles that they’ve been in that injuries actually happen to them (unlike in some books). I’m looking forward to the next book to see what happens and where the story is going.
